We want you to know a little about our experiences learning a second language, it may be that not all cases are the same. However, we know that it is very remarkable the progress a person makes learning a second language from their first educational and social developments. So tell us in the comment section, if you have a similar experience learning a second language.

"When I was a little girl I wanted to learn English but I didn't have the opportunity, and being an adult it was much more difficult for me, I remember when I started the first year of the University, I knew a little bit of vocabulary that I learned in school and in high school but it wasn't enough and I felt a lot of shame when I spoke because I made many mistakes and because of that many times, I decided not to say anything. Learning English as a child would have saved me those obstacles"

"My experience learning English has not been very good because in school they almost didn't teach me the basics so I had to learn it in college and it has been more difficult to retain information, memorize words and speak fluently"

"My experience in these 3 years that I've been learning English has been both difficult and simple, simple because I LOVE the English language and I've been practicing with things I like, like songs or movies and I learned without any effort, but difficult because I'm studying in school and sometimes I try to memorize structures and vocabulary because that's what I have to do and that's where we lose the essence of learning because we learn English by heart and not by force, that's why it is better to grow hand in hand with the English language to be able to have better learning"

Since I was little my dream has always been to speak a foreign language like English, I love listening to songs and I wanted to be able to sing them like artists did.  When I started my studies at the university I realized that English was increasingly difficult and it was difficult for me to pronounce the words correctly, it was not easy to get used to thinking in English and not in Spanish and the fear of being wrong followed me through the  3 years of studies.  coming to the conclusion that if I had learned English from my childhood many things would have been different.

My recent testimony learning English has been a curious but great experience, since at first I was not familiar with the language so it was a challenge to learn it correctly and when it came to implementing it grammatically, which was a goal that I set for myself. overcome as the days went by, I wanted to learn more and more about it, since a new word with a new meaning is always known.  I'm glad to know that I was able to push myself and keep learning until I got to where I am right now.

  1. My experience is similar because when I was a child I didn't learn to speak in English, I think that if I had started reading, listening to music or watching movies in English, my experience in college would have been different.
